Tong Ah — Restaurant in Groningen

I think we've all experienced the standard dutch chinese takeaway of dry meat, underseasoned sauces and egg that tastes more like factory flooring than real eggs.

Tong ah doesnt have these issues, in fact they deliver the complete opposite. The meat is juicy, tender, and fatty, the eggs taste like real eggs and the battered chicken has a great satisfying bite (difficult to explain)

other chinese takeaway restaurants in the netherlands should take note, because now that ive ordered here twice i dont think i can go back to any other...

Food was good. Also enough for the money, and still warm while delivered.

The problems arise with the delivery. I put in 19:15 which was an option, they got here at 19:49. One of my guests noticed the tomato soup was missing. I called them and it would be delivered short after. We went ahead and enjoyed our mail, but two hours later my guests noted she still hasn't gotten her soup. I called again and asked for my money back, which was delivered in 20minites in my mailbox in an envelope.

Location easy to find. This is the 2nd Chinese places i tried in Groningen, they don't seem very popular, this place also very quiet with no other customers when we got there. The food price is reasonable, and quality and taste is average, but I most definitely would not come back here again, as they are keen to throw customers out when they want to go home...lol...so ambience is a...
