Fatoush — Restaurant in Groningen

Family run Lebanese restaurant, a few steps away from Groningen city centre.

I had never been to a Lebanese restaurant before but I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of dishes available, a dream come true for any vegeterian or vegan customer.

We allowed the waiter to order for us several different 'mezza' (small portions, something between an appetizer and a side dish) and everything was delicious. Hummus, pickled aubergines filled with almonds and of course fatoush, a delicious Lebanese salad. The falafel was to die for in my opinion. And finally the main (oven cooked aubergine with vegetables) was also very tasty. If I had to choose between all the options available, I would go for the mezzas, I loved all of them. Let yourself be surprised.

We recently had Fatoush cater a going away party for 25 people, and it was absolutely fantastic! The spread was a delightful array of authentic Lebanese dishes that left everyone raving. From the perfectly seasoned chicken to the rich and creamy hummus, every dish was a hit. The falafel was crispy on the outside yet tender inside, easily the best in Groningen.

The portions were generous, ensuring that no one left hungry. The presentation was impeccable, and the food arrived hot and on time. The staff at Fatoush were incredibly professional and accommodating, making the entire experience seamless.

Last night we had dinner at Fatoush restaurant. We had a pleasant time as the food was great and delicious, yummy yummy yummy . But to us it is not only the food it is the kindness, the lovely atmosphere. First we were welcomed by a young sweet lady that met us and escorted us to our table then the great guy who served the food for us in a very professional manner.
