We stopped in Saturday during a weekend trip from Amsterdam. We were happy to come across a place that serves Korean food in a way we recognize. We spent the last several years living in Koreatown Los Angeles and this place reminded us of those, but with better decor and design. The inside is very stylish with copper vent hoods for the grill plates and nice modern furniture. They have a large selection of Japanese and Korean dishes, this scared us at first as sometimes restaurants that serve both don't do either well. This was not the case here. We started with some Japanese dishes includes sushi, and all were good to great. The Korean selection was nice as well. They had several kinds of meat and several marinades from salty, to sweet, to very slightly spicy. If there was one area of food I would like to see more of its in the spicy selection. A good Daeji Bulgogi (spicy pork) would be a nice addition to the menu. Its a small point, and they did provide some chili sauce on the side which I used. The banchan (side dishes) were all great, and they give you a good selection of them which are refilled as much as you want. They had a selection of European and Japanese beers, but not any Korean beers like Hite, Cass, or Kloud. I imagine these are harder to find in NL and a Japanese beer is almost as good. The best part was the service, a really sweet young man helped get us a table and the 3 waitresses that helped us all had great personalities and made sure we were happy. They really appeared to be trained well and knew the food. I wish we lived closer, we would be there every month, even as it is I am sure we will come back...

Efficient & friendly service but enthusiasm for some needs to be improved, they should smile more n_n but overall the staff were very nice and helpful. The Korean BBQ was great with an awesome selection of other dishes on the side.
Loved the All U Can Eat concept. It is super worth it for its price. You can order anything from their menu for 2.5 hours, max 5 items per round.
However, drinks are not included. I must say, the drinks were a bit pricey especially the soft drinks and if you drink a lot in between or during your meal, you will have to keep buying drinks as they are not refillable or come in big bottles.
Everything I had was really good. From the meats to the other menu items. Great flavors all around.
My favorite sides were the sushi, octopus balls (takoyaki), grilled salmon side dish 🤩 BBQ meats were well seasoned and delicious as well. Veggies tasted fresh!
For the dessert, I liked the black sesame and matcha ice cream. Lovely flavors, not too sweet. It was just right. A cute robot cat served it to us!
All in all, I really enjoyed my dinner here. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quality Korean BBQ place in Groningen. It is definitely worth a try!
Would love to come back here again one day :)
Wish I got to take more pictures of the food/place but was too busy enjoying my meals hahaha hope these still helps if you're reading this while looking for options. Lol. It's a lot better in real life than in my pics.. go ahead and try...
Read moreGood quality Korean BBQ. The restaurant is located near the city centre so it is easily reachable. The interior is nice, neat and clean. Service is good, although they have automated most of it using tablets and a robot that brings the food to the table (they still have waiters, so it is more like a hybrid concept).
They offer a good selection of meat, fish and finger food. You can cook your own food using the grill located in the centre of the table. I found it very nice. Though I personally think they could expand the vegeterian options.
They also offer Korean beers and drinks in general. I had never had any so for me it was a nice surprise.
I only wish they had spent more time explaining to us how to properly serve a Korean BBQ. Either way I would recommend this restaurant, you will most...
