If you're in a hurry don't go there. Bad design of how the process of eating should go. Their logic is to stand in line for few minutes, order, get some buzzing thing, go wait in another line to pay (and the two lines are not connected). Pay and go to wait. The food might be nice. Still need to try it when it arrives. But the waiting in two lines and the nonsense of the casa stopping to work because they didn't have more paper to print invoices and waiting to order took ages because the only two workers taking orders were both with one customer who needed help and meanwhile no one is taking orders and the line is just getting bigger... All those things took already any appetite I had. 2 stars because the staff are nice people keeping their smile while everyone around...
Read moreFood seems to be good (the sandwich I got was nice), however service is total disaster. There were likely min. 20 people waiting to pay (on airport…. Where normally people are somehow in a hurry), 3 cash desks were working and it was still extremely slow. At my cash desk, the cashier was cashier, preparing coffee, walking to the other side to get orange juice and serving alcohol. Organization of the working process to me seems to be really bad as much as it exists. Although I mentioned to the staff, she only said, “ yes, I know”… so what? Will never get anything from this...
Read moreAs a regular transitor in AMS airport, I have walked past the harvest market several times before but finally on a longer layover had a chance to stop and grab a bite to eat.
The Dutch fish and chips is tasty and the portion is good, but the price isn't super cheap. However given other food outlets airside in AMS are also quite pricey, this isn't really something that can be held against this place.
Ordering and paying was quite slow as there was a long queue, but the food wasn't such a long wait once ordered.
