Fantastic experience at Beniras in Leiden!

What a delightful surprise! We had dinner at Beniras with our whole family (three kids), and everyone absolutely loved it. The food is incredibly tasty – not your typical mainstream dishes, but creative and well-balanced flavors. Our 9-year-old son enjoyed it so much he wants to go back tomorrow!

The wine selection is small but excellent and really complemented the food beautifully.

Dessert highlight? Definitely the pineapple with lychee ice cream – fresh, original, and absolutely delicious.

Special mention for the service: fast, friendly, and somehow always there when you need them, without ever feeling intrusive. Just spot-on.

Creative Chef with the offered menu. We ordered the 3 course-chef dinner menu to explore what the Chef was capable of. We were well rewarded with very nice culinary experience. Very comparable with many other Chef menus I've had from fine dinning but on a much smaller scale. Food was rich, flavourful with creative use of ingredients (wasn't even afraid to use asian sauce to good effect). Very presentable and great service (it was a slow night). I’m genuinely surprised about the good reviews to be fair, they must be family and friends because I don’t understand really .In my case, we were absolutely disappointed with our dinner, I give you 2 stars because the service was good . The chef’s menu is an absolutely ripoff, the amount and the quality of the food for 34 euros per person is just ridiculous and almost disrespectful for the costumer. We paid 170 euros and we didn’t have dinner. I have no reasons to...
