Bar Brutal — Restaurant in Maastricht

Love this place. Great music, staff is cool. Two facts to justify the only 3/5 service rating, although to be fair that is more of a "Dutch thing" than specific to this bar:

A/ I can't understand why I have to drink soapy water and the (Covid-laced?) saliva of my fellow patrons. In NL, for some reason my background in physics can't not explain, it is customary to dip the whole beer glass in a bath of soapy water before serving a draft beer. And when repeating a drink, they will do it with the old dirty glass. I really find that disgusting. Plus, after serving, they will dip the bottom of the glass in the same soapy bath??? serving me a glass that is literally dripping soapy water mixed with beer and saliva!! I have ruined a couple of notes - I'm used to write whilst in bar, with this drippy mess :(

B/ There are mice everywhere. Again, more of a Dutch thing, I've seem them even in Schipol! But I'm really uncomfortable with the idea of food...

My favourite (solo) post work bar. I usually visit this bar on Friday afternoons to enjoy a couple of seasonal beers and some snacks on my own.
