Basilica — Restaurant in Maastricht

Visited this restaurant for the Terrace Package during the Andre Rieu concert and, my, was I blown away!!

The staff are super helpful and the food is top-notch delicious - the menu was curated perfectly.

The ambience is stunning and the sound is just like you were sitting near the stage.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the restaurant next to Basilica, behind the Andre Rieu barricade, was rather noisy and rowdy - this did spoil the atmosphere a little and I could tell the feeling was mutual amongst the others sitting at our table (603).

We were at Basilica Restaurant on 28th March 2015. We went in there for a Dinner around 1915 hrs, it was super busy. We had a train to catch at 2038 hrs, and we requested the staff for serving the order early if possible.

To our surprise, even when the restaurant was completely full, the chef and the staff served the order (for 7 person) within 15 minutes. The food was amazing and the service was excellent.

We loved the overall experience and would recommend Basilica to everyone.

This Basilica (Onze liefde vrouw) (Holly Mary) is in the very center of Maastricht. Between many towers of other churches you find easy because only Basilica have two towers. Around is a small square with coffee and restaurants. In the entrants you have the chapel of Holly Mary where are always many candles 🕯 burning.
