Bar 2H (De Twee Heeren) — Restaurant in Maastricht

This place really treated us like we were some misers when we asked for water. It was the drinks time with music and we had been there for half an hour. I went to buy water and asked for them a glass of water. They told me to buy drinks first and then ask for water in a really rude way …and went away without listening to me.She said the same thing to her male colleague. I waited and asked that I would pay for the water. My friend again came to her for water and she told her off. She started telling us that they have to pay and some other stuff. When I said I want to talk to manager…the other colleague came and started arguing with me and told us to get out of the place. I think it was because we were asians or something. Never coming back to this place ever in my life . I hope I could complain somewhere about this small thing because I am pretty much bruised about this. Also it was supposed to be my friends...

I brought my family to this place to have dinner together after my exam (they travelled from Germany just to have dinner with me). As soon as we asked for a table the waitresses started to ask many questions like what type of dishes we wanted to order , if main or starters. After 5 minutes one waitress brought us to the table but as soon as we started to order he said that “the kitchen was having a problem with the gas and they had to close earlier that night”. It was 21.30 and the kitchen was supposed to close at 22:00 but for this “problem” they closed 30 min earlier. We understood immediately that was an excuse to start the “bar-night” with only drinks because we were the only people that wanted to eat in that moment. I will never come back in this place , that is not the best way to...

Don't let be mislead by the bar-looking outfit. In fact it's a great restuarant (and probably bar as well but haven't tried it in this function yet). They have a great menu with main courses and great chief who prepares delicious meals. What's morez kitchen is open all around the day so u won't be suprice by sandwich menu till 5pm like in many restaurants in NL. Of course sandwiches are also there however. What is also great is that they allow for half-size meals for kids at 50% price. It's really cool place to go for lunch dinner with kids although at first glance may not like kids-friendly. But it is! U can even find there some games to enjoy your time with kids waiting for your order. Staff is super nice and friendly. Great experience. A Must-go when...
