Café Van Bommel Uitgaan Maastricht — Restaurant in Maastricht

I was there last Saturday. We ordered beers and food after tagging down the waiter (an older man). While we waited, we noticed how our waiter joined the table next to us (his friends?) and chit chatted for about an hour. I finally asked on the status of our food. He said he would go “check.” A few minutes later a different waiter comes and tells us that there was a problem with their system and our order got “missed.” As we’re getting ready to leave and find another place to eat, we noticed our food came out and was given to the our waiter’s friends. The waiter was really rude. After we sat down we asked if he can give us a second to look into the menu. He said in a snappy tone that he'll come back in 10minutes. He came back after 1min while we were looking at the card and because not everybody was able to check the menu and still wanted to look he got angry and told us in a very harsh way that we should finally decide. And the Nachos were terrible. After 40min they came and "asked" us to pay....

We didn't know what to expect, wanted some rich snack and stopped here. At first I thought this might be some touristic trap, and although the pilsener wasn't so good (but excuse my french, I'm a Czech...) the food was a total bomb 💣 I couldn't want more. Really really tasty. They had 3 tapas for 20€, right in the center, and I think that's fair. It was for two people and it totally made a dinner for us. A good snack for 3 or 4...
