Café In Den Ouden Vogelstruys — Restaurant in Maastricht

It was fine. One of the staff was not in the mood, he was talking serious and kinda angry which is fine. We all had bad days. But two things happened which I didn't like. I asked for tap water and he said it's not possible which it was weird!!!! He said I'm not allowed , you should buy buttle. Second when we wanted to pay he said it's not possible to split !!! We stopped here for drink stops on Friday and Saturday. The waitress also managed to book us into the restaurant for an evening meal on Friday. The Zuurvlees (beef stew) was excellent and the Gluhwein we had on the drink stops was very nice and warming. On Saturday we tried it with added amaretto/rum. Even more warming. Worst place at the beautiful Vrijthof square. The young waiter let us wait for a while before being super rude asking for our drinks. While the order was clear we got served a beer we did not order which he returned. When we had to pay, the beer we did not order was on the receipt and he kept pushing us to pay for it.
