Café Paulus — Restaurant in Maastricht

Very expensive for what it is. Ordered a board with bread and dippings, they were very small ,one of dipping was basically just mayo and the other was mustard. They give very little bread , had to order some more and they charged us 2 euros for it. One of the waiters was a little bit rude(Jesus looking guy with glasses, he also spilled water everywhere on another table) we had a bag a chips with us that my little sister had already opened before arriving there and he told us to take it out the table, even though we had ordered drinks and food and it clearly not bothering anyone, we were seating in the back corner. Don't recommend this cafe, for the price there are better cafes with better quality and...

Worst service in Maastricht. We were left speechless by the rudeness of the woman working there. First, mocking the customers when they ask politely whether a table is free. Then, after one hour of sitting down (and consuming) in 8 people, a woman working there basically said to us that either we would have consumed another drink or we would have had to go away (ALMOST ALL THE OTHER TABLES WERE EMPTY). Also incredible that in 2023 they oblige you to pay with only one bill for the whole table. Don’t mistreat international customers, that will bring you nowhere in a city...

I stopped into a bar, I passed along the way. Ic and Flic got down on their knees and they began to pray..Maastricht dreaming..on such a (non) sunny day. ( younger people see The Mammas and the Pappas for grounding.) The André Rieu concert starts soon and the rain has stopped. Hope we are lucky tomorrow but if not, this is a good bar to stop in.
