I had the unlimited spareribs and as a dessert the espresso infused white chocolate mousse.

First off the presentation of the dishes and service was really great. Even though we came at a really busy time, we never had to wait unreasonably long and the personnel was friendly and tried to accommodate us to their best ability.

The spareribs themselves varied a little too much to my taste. The first rib was a little too chewy, the second one was sublime, tender and just fell of the bone, but was missing some baked unions and the third one was again quite a bit chewier, didn't have enough marinade and was missing the unions. Overall the taste was really great and the only place I've had ribs comparable in taste and quality, in Maastricht, was at Gauchos.

The Dessert and the Coffee Carnal were simply beautiful, well proportioned and tasted quite good.

I was doubting to 5-star my experience, just the inconsistency of the ribs got me doubting, but something else made me decide to go with the 4-star rating. And this was the clutter. It is quite understandable that in a tight and quite small establishment not everything can be 100% organized all the time, but exactly because it is a small establishment, I think, a different solution should be found to store some of the inventory. Budweiser stacked in the hallway, some plastic cutlery on the counter. It wasn't greatly disturbing, but it felt even more crammed, more chaotic in a business which has that as a natural part of it. I don't want to go on too long about it, because I had a great, enjoyable evening and it would deduct too much of a good experience.

Overall big recommend and I will check in again at a different time, to hopefully upgrade to the 5-stars I could see myself giving to this...

After a beautiful sight seeing city of Maastricht we went to this place. From the beginning was chaos, waiter brought a menu but we couldn't order tea. Had to wait 20 minutes to just say, that we would like a tea please. Than of course another delay with bringing them. We ordered 2 rib eye medium. 3 times my mother was sending her steak back to the kitchen. I couldn't chew my steak, was so hard. Neither did my Mum. Steak was hard, we couldn't even cut them with knives. After that farse I ask the waitress what shall we do, we left steaks on the plate. She was asking me milion questions. Didn't you like the quality of the meat or the way its prepared.... I didn't like both. My Mum as well. I showed her - please look at our plates, we are not eating that hard meat. Than she was gone for a long time. When she was back, she was talking to her colleagues for quite some time. I asked her kindly - could U go back to me, we just missed our train, she was gone somewhere else again 🤦🏼‍♀️ After waiting in our jackets, disgusted by its food and behavior, she came back and said ok u just pay 7 euro for drinks. Totally chaos, disorganization and low quality of meat...
