Zondag — Restaurant in Maastricht

A nice place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. I really appreciate their wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks - it's not your usual Coke & Sprite. Their kombucha is especially tasty (really sour). The food is also pretty decent, I tried the tortilla de patatas - it was nice but a bit bland and cold. The only thing that really bothers me is their service. I went several times and they barely come to your table once. After that they never come back, even if they are not busy at all. Deception with the order and the cost of dessert!

I often visit your cafe. On May 5th I ordered 1 scone for 4 euros and a latte macchiato for 3.40 euros, your employees billed me 7.40 euros.

On May 6, I also ordered 1 scone and 1 latte macchiato, but your employees gave me an invoice for 11.40 euros, 1 scone cost already 8 euros! Worker girl with glasses is very aggressive rude! She said nonsense that it is fashionable to order only 2 scone, although on May 5 I ordered 1 scone without any problems. And you need to warn about such things in advance!

This place was a recommendation of a friend so we were sure it must be good. Unfortunately it wasn't. The food was okay but we had to wait forever to be served. It took plenty of time for someone to even take our order and it was not super, super busy and there were three waiters around. Once we've finished our drinks - no one asked if they could get us something else while waiting for our food (it took around 25 minutes for a soup and a sandwich). But since there are plenty of little cafes and restaurants all over Maastricht, I'd say choose somewhere...
