Restaurant Bim & Bap — Restaurant in Maastricht

I was really looking forward to this restaurant. The kimchi jiggae was only water with kimchi. Unfortunately it didn't taste like normally how kimchi jiggae should taste like. We also had japchae and ramyun. Both of the food looked like it was just heated up and not freshly cooked at that moment.The ramyun was not like korean ramyun, it was more like spaghetti. The japchae tasted good but I like it when it's fresh made. The fried chicken with the sauce was the bomb. Rice was too sticky and the kimchi was nice tasted differently than the kimchi I had before. Service was suuuuuper sloooow. Like there werent even that many table. I had to get the servers attention which was almost impossibleeee and it was late at night, already starving.

The food came like 45 minutes later. We were waiting for so long hahahah. Thankfully the food taste good! Like real delicious korean food. I can taste the bold seasoning.

My bibimbap portion was generous, pork was tender, spicy sauce perfectly complements the whole dish which was full of veggies. Then the dubu jim, we thought it would be similar to sundubu jjigae, but its more like tofu in sauce with rice. Still a good tofu! Well seasoned and the tofu is soft.

We waited 1h for our food and we only ordered bibimbap. Usually it takes 20min to make. Customers who arrive later than us, were served before us. When our friends arrived, we couldn’t sit on the same table, so they were standing next to us, because we were talking. They waited for nearly 1,5h and their food didn’t arrive. After nearly 1,5h one of the service women came over and told our friends, passive aggressively, to sit down, because „it’s annoying“ that they are standing.

After confrontation they were not understanding, so we left and our friends didn’t get their food, which was still not prepared.
