We went there with high expectations due to the positive reviews. The location is really nice as well as the stuff. However, when it comes to food, we were a bit disappointed. We took the tasting menu, the first dish with baby lobster was a bit flat & not seasoned. Dessert was also nice but not really fitting to a tasting menu as it wasn’t anything original. While we understand that it is a tasting menu, the portions were really small vs the prices that they ask for.I am sorry to say there are better options...

Ein absolutes Highlight in Maastricht!

Wir haben das Restaurant im Rahmen eines Städtetrips besucht, nachdem wir es im Guide Michelin entdeckt hatten – und es war ein Volltreffer! Bereits im Vorfeld waren wir von der Karte begeistert und haben direkt reserviert. Wir waren zu dritt unterwegs, darunter ein Veganer – und das Team hat sich unglaublich viel Mühe gegeben: Auf Voranmeldung wurde ein veganes Menü liebevoll und kreativ zusammengestellt, basierend auf dem vegetarischen Menü, aber individuell angepasst.

Die beiden regulären Menüs mit Fisch und Fleisch waren ebenso hervorragend. Jedes Gericht war geschmacklich auf den Punkt, raffiniert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail angerichtet. Der Baby-Lobster war ein echtes Highlight – zart, perfekt zubereitet und einfach unvergesslich!

Der Service war aufmerksam, herzlich und zugleich angenehm unaufdringlich. Man fühlt sich rundum willkommen – fast wie bei Freunden. Die ruhige Lage in einer kleinen Seitenstraße direkt an der Maas sorgt für eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Bei gutem Wetter draußen zu sitzen ist definitiv ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt.

Ein großes Kompliment an das gesamte Team: freundlich, familiär, professionell und mit spürbarer Leidenschaft bei der Sache.

The male waiter was rude and full of himself.

At the end of the night, we were not informed that we couldn't order anything anymore. Slight heads up wouldn't be bad. They just stopped coming to the table and when I went downstairs to order a drink, I was told in a cocky way that we couldn't order anymore.
