Beautiful location. Food was terrible and luke warm at best. The Zoervlees was very very very sweet. The cod was bland The pork was undercooked. A portion of fries is very small. The burger was the only dish that was OK. The prices were all between 22 and 28 euro. Way more expensive than Google says. The service was poor. There are so many other good options in the area. Skip this place for food. Expensive and poor. The beer selection was nice. Addendum: after serving the food no-one came back to check how our meal was. At the end we complained about the very undercooked pork (one of the 9 dishes we ordered.)After much debate with the staff, were offered half of the price of the dish as a discount even though they admitted that the pork was indeed very undercooked. The supervisor insisted that his staff had checked in with us after serving, which was a lie. Even if what they were saying was true, it was very poor business savvy. We are usually big tippers. To save 14 euro (half the dish price) they earn this scathing review and miss out on a 15% tip on a very large bill . Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! food was mediocre and expensive. I had the beef stew which was already over 20€ and had to order an extra side salad (just a bunch of romana leaves, red cabbage and 3 slices of radish) for 4.5€. fries were unsalted and the beef stew was sour to my taste. salad had too little dressing. the plating was nice, service was good and ambience was good. its a nice place for a small bite and catch up with friends, but not if you’re searching for a good...

We had the 'Fish & Chips' and were very disappointed overall. Firstly, they are served in a bowl. I can understand people trying to be a little quirky, but it just makes the food difficult to eat. In addition, the fish, albeit plentiful, was very dry and bland. Maybe we were just unlucky and ours was cooked too long, but either way, it wasn't very good.
