Blue Martini Bar — Restaurant in Oranjestad (city)

We were staying at the Marriott here so of course we had to try the Bar here. We really enjoyed all the times we came here (cause we came here more than once). The reason I did 4 instead of 5 stars is because when you try all the places for food that Aruba has, you feel like this is below that quality. Still good, just not as amazing.

The drinks were amazing and the service and the bartender we always had , Alejandro was great. Easy to get to your room after you have had a few drinks.

If the food was like all the other places I'd say 5 stars, but it is definitely a place to check out especially if of all you want is...

Very bad service, they aren't unfriendly but they are excruciatingly slow and do not check up on tables. Food items are good; flatbreads are essentially a deep dish Square using what seems like melted cheese over (ALOT of) focaccia bread. Salads are decent. Drinks vary depending on what you order. The signature aruba arriba can be watered down some days other days pretty strong. They do offer poolside service which is a plus but similar slow service doesn't do it...

Can get real hot in here, especially during happy hour part of the day, but we really enjoy Blue. Over the past couple years, the service has improved dramatically. We rarely wait for drinks, even when packed out. We always try and look up Javier, who is one of the managers and a super great guy. Renaissance is our favorite hotel...
