Brasserie Pierre — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Took a friend here to celebrate - I like the fact that the menu has a lot of options. The minute we sat down, a jug of water was served to the table, the staff was very welcoming, and the menu was well explained. We started off with a bread basket, oysters and the burrata. The display of the food added to the elegant ambiance of this place. For the main course we had the fish of the day and the Coq au vin, finishing with the creme brulee. All the dishes were full of flavor and worth the money! We stayed till closing time and when it got more chilly the staff turned on the heaters on the terrace - again adding to our comfort!

Overall, my first time being here I was very impressed with the menu and the overall dining experience. I also like the fact that we could order breakfast and lunch all day if we wanted. I would definitely recommend this place for those who are looking for delicious food with decent price in a semi-casual yet timeless place. I definitely will be...

Was really looking forward to enjoying some nice French cuisines, unfortunately due to human error my reservation was only placed for two people rather than 5. Even confirmed on the phone if I can come earlier, to which she confirmed at 08:30. The server told us to wait and see if she could accommodate us, after a few minutes she said unfortunately there’s no space at all. It’s a pity now I couldn’t even celebrate my birthday dinner, and it didn’t felt like she put in much effort to help. There were seats outside and a bench inside (with no reservation sign) to which she could have even cared to arrange. Safe to say, if you ever make a reservation, please triple confirm before you’re disappointed when you arrive especially for a special occasion. And perhaps if you don’t mind the lack of friendliness...

Great french/southern european inspired cuisine in the heart of Rotterdam.

Brasserie pierre offers great dishes filled with familiar flavors of french and southern cuisine. Although not super vegetarian friendly we found two amazing dishes that were plant based with options to make it vegan.

The mushroom risotto was perfectly cooked and heavenly creamy and the mushroom burger was a very satisfying dish that goes against what is usually offered in other restaurants (beyond burger and other ultra-processed patties).

Wine was good and staff was helpful however we were left waiting with a big line at the entrance for more than 10 minutes which was weird.

Nevertheless we will be coming...
