Broox — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Had a nice sunny spot outside, waited pretty long for a waiter but nothing too unusual then ordered the food and something to drink, waiting time for food was fine but then the problems started, I had ordered "3 American Pancakes with Maple syrup" what I got were 3 Small Pancakes the maple syrup was missing so I asked the waiter about it she said she'd get it, no further explanation at this point, then a few minutes passed by my pancakes were slowly getting cold so I got up and asked the waiter about it she said the other waiter is getting it, after a few more minutes I got a bit of maple syrup and got the explanation that it took so long because the maple syrup didn't got delivered in their last order so someone had to go to the supermarket, so then I could finally eat, however I was a little surprised to find out that it was the same dough as the normal pancakes the rest of my family ordered (it contains a lot of egg to me it was more like an omlet). After we all finished eating we waited quite sometime for a waiter to order the bill and eventually asked a waiter that was bringing food to the neighbor table he said he'd bring the bill so we waited, after quite some while we decided to go inside and paid.

Conclusion: Long waiting times Food is not delicious Bad...

Horrible service, both waitresses that helped were rude. The menu was not clear to me, because some of the pancake's were not priced so i had to ask and they were soooo rude. I also suggested them maybe to put prices on it or put how much each toping extra would cost. But the waitress gave such a big mouth, being very rude. Ended up ordering a pancake with 3 toppings and they only brought a pancake with 2 toppings.

Also ordered poffertjes and the presentation was a MESS to say the least. Not appealing at all. After they brought the food no one came back to check, we had to stand for attention. Which is horrible giving the fact that the place was EMPTY! Just 2 customers.

The Food is average, i have tasted similar pancackes in the city with better service.

Worst pancake place ever. I would not suggest anyone to go here. Cus imagine how rude/messy the service will be when it's actually packed for the summer.

Very good location in the city center but such a big disappointment. Dirty table that was never cleaned. Our table had view in the back kitchen were the staff didn’t even care that we could see them serving plates with naked hands that were never washed. Had a club sandwich that could be much better with fresh ingredients..oh! We didn’t even get glasses for the ice tee as the staff informed us that didn’t have at that moment. (Btw the place was not even half full) couldn’t enjoy anything at the end. Waste of money in a place with so...
