Freddy's comfort food — Restaurant in Rotterdam

A great place to enjoy some delicious comfort food! With public transport it is sort of close to Rotterdam Central Station.

They have a diverse selection of comfort food on their menu. I had the Mac 'N Cheese Chicken Bowl and a pineapple soda on the side. Overall it had a nice taste.

It would have been nice if the mac and cheese was a bit more creamy and the chicken a bit more crunchy. But that is just my personal preference. I still recommend the dish. The pineapple soda added some sweetness to the dish, which was nice.

The interior is nice and clean. There are high chairs available as well, some of them are near the window at the front of the restaurant.

When we went they were not that busy. People were eating but we were the only ones in line. My son ordered the ma n cheese chicken sandwich and I ordered the chicken sandwich with peanut sauce. They took a k almost 20 minutes to come out. We were puzzled. They were delicious and very tasty. Satisfying. The one with peanut sauce was too messy to eat with my hands as there was so much sauce. We had the Mac n cheese burger and the kimchi honey butter wings.

The chicken was delicious and juicy but he Mac n cheese was pretty dry and flavourless so that wasn't a good addition to a nice chicken sandwhich.

The wings itself were juicy and nicely fried although the sauce was very overpowering and a little bit sour-ish. you couldn't really taste true gochujang.

Service was nice, clear and very quickly.

Atmosphere has a nice classic vibe to it with hiphop music and a good colorscheme.

Overall pretty okay but I did not get excited enough to come back and try...
