Rooms on Water — Hotel in Rotterdam

Great find and unique stay in Rotterdam. Monique is a great host. Happy to share local knowledge with suggestions on how to plan your day. Water taxi stops right next door easy to get around. Supermarket just around the corner. Barge has been beautifully renovated, Cabins are small and basic but have everything you need, wardrobe in room with shelves and hanging space. Ensuite had good water pressure and plenty of hot water and toiletries provided. Only thing missing is a hairdryer. Breakfast great and served in the common room at a time that suits you. Good selection with meats, eggs, cheese, cereal and fruits. Can have eggs cooked to order. Tea and coffee available. Nice area to sit outside and enjoy the surrounds. Only a few mins walk from the cube houses and the Markthal with lots of food options. I have to admit that this accommodation exceeded my expectations. A generous and extremely bright common space ensures a pleasant atmosphere for socializing or serving. Although it is not visible from the outside, the cabins transformed into comfortable bedrooms have all the facilities you need, including a private bathroom with toiletries. Even for two people, the space is enough. And Moniek, the Lady owner, personally made sure every day that the breakfast was prepared on time, that it was tasty...
