This diminutive Indian spot a few hundred meters west of Centraal, while not elegant, is a nice place for a good meal. It is perhaps a 10 - minute or so walk from the station. It is not hard to find as the restaurant facade is unobtrusive and matched to the neighborhood.
The woman who waited on me was rather pleasant and accommodating. The menu offered several tempting favorites. I started with a red Dal Soup that was quite good. For my main, I had Chana Chicken, which was chicken with chickpeas in a red curry. It was excellent. It was accompanied by a salad and a small bit of vegetable curry. I also ordered Peshwari Naan. It was all terrific. The curry was very tasty and the Naan was extremely well done.
