Granny's Grill — Restaurant in Rotterdam

Unfortunately, when people think of grandmothers they think of old, musky and out of touch. This is not true for most elderly people and not true for this restaurant. This place is consistently wonderful and that is a comfort. As you enter this cozy nook-like restaurant you a greeted in a way that seems to be saying "welcome home, you have been missed". Whether you're dining with your significant other or your entire family you will feel relaxed and free. The food is nothing special and that is why it is so delectable. The steaks are cooked perfectly each time and the ribs will make you want to hug the chef. The Picanha fillet was not even chewable (apart from the fact that this particular piece of meat HAS to be very tender, because the muscle in the rump area does not do very much work) the stuff was far from polite, rude describes the word better. When we complained about the quality of the meat, the maitre d' , told us that we did not cut the meat properly(!!)), we followed his advice, the Picanha remained unchewable. The side dishes were ridiculously small, the main course dishes came into very small portions as well, the prices very high, no respect to the customer whatsoever. What a great place to eat. The team over the road at Dr Rotterdam recommend here and it did not disappoint.

Couple of hungry guys just wanting to get some decent ribs, and did they deliver. Super juicy with amazing flavour and sauces. Topped with some spring onion and a decent portion too!

Service is sometimes hard to find but once the food is down. It's all good.

The one thing I will warn you about is those hot wings. Woah, we can handle some heat, but those after one bite were face melting. Just be aware.
