Shoutout to the one that handled our order. #QT9 BFQ of this morning. 💜🌻🫶
Hello there! I have been following this lovely place on Instagram. I have always been very curious about there pancakes, because they look so fluffy! 😍 Well, let me tell you, they are.
It all started with a late afternoon breakfast craving. Luckily this place was still open. We sat outside and ordered through the QR-code on the table. I really love this, because I am very indecisive and need time to think my order through.
Location/place: On walking distance from station Blaak, a hidden gem in the city for pancakes lovers. Very cozy inside and outside. Many boardgames to play while you wait or with your coffee at the end. The also have a kid/family area in the back of the place. I like this.
Food: The pancakes were absolutely delicious!! Super fluffy and warm. I orderd the avocado mash pancakes. Was very nice, however I believe I would just go for the sweet version. (My personal taste). As I mentioned later, I didn't like to soda's. (Not my expectation, but was okay). The pancakes were pretty stuck on each other, but this is only irritating if you alsp like to separate your pancakes to dip them in the topping. Was okay for me. I did find a expiration/freshness label tab stuck somewhere on the plate. It was under my pancake, so I just saw it when I finished eating. I didn't say anything, but was not pleasant. Everything was absolutely nice either way.
Service: We orderd the passion fruit/orange soda. It was not what we expected. We didn't like it. Luckily the staff was veey kind to immediately take back our drinks without many questions and let us order new drinks. And removed the soda's from our bill. This was the highlight of...
Read moreWe reserved a high tea with a group via phone a couple days earlier. The food was great but the staff was incredibly rude. From the moment we got there we were made to feel that we were an inconvenience, told to start quickly because we were late (we were 5 minutes late, and I called in advance to ask them if it was okay). I understand it was busy, and our group was a bit larger (8 people), so there was not a lot of room, time or energy for them to serve all customers optimally, but they seemed understaffed as well. However, there is a difference between quick service and rude service, and this was definitely rude. Food was dropped on the table, no explanations (I had informed when making the reservations half of us were vegetarian, and we had to dissect some of the food to check who could eat what). The pancakes were placed on the table, as well as in our tea cups: no sorry, just an annoyed sigh. I’m sorry to say we’ll never go here again, which is a bit of a loss cause the pancakes were great (and you can take them home in a doggy bag if you can’t...
