The only good rating it deserves is for the atmosphere - the place seems tastefully decorated. However, the service is embarrassing and you should train your employees on how to turn people down.
I arrived with my friend 45 minutes before closing time - we only wanted to grab a coffee since we were nearby, however as soon as we got in a server rushed to tell us they don’t serve anymore. We mentioned it’s open until 5:30 on google maps, her reply was something in the likes of “oh but we have to be empty by that time, we are also one man down, sorry!” and then she walked away.
Mind you - she never asked whether we want to drink or eat, I can understand asking for food 40 minutes before closing time is ridiculous but a coffee takes little time to make. She never even offered to let us stay while keeping in mind that we have to be out by a certain time, we would’ve made sure we leave by the time she wanted us to leave. Despite them being “one man down”, the place was more than half empty and very quiet so that wasn’t the issue either. Probably the reason was in reality that she couldn’t wait to end her shift and go home.
Luckily for us, Coffee Company was open until 18 and is within walking distance from Kula so if you want to make sure you are served, avoid the place at all costs. Real pity - although it looks nice and I was curious about the menu, that lady’s service made me want to...
Read moreToday I visited Kula with my family and I was initially impressed by its inviting atmosphere. However, my experience quickly took a turn for the worse as we faced numerous issues with our meal. From the moment we placed our order, it seemed as though everything was going wrong.
Although I understand that mistakes happen, it was the way these errors were handled that disappointed me the most. The staff's attitude towards our concerns was lacking empathy and understanding. Instead of addressing our issues, there was a palpable sense of indifference, and it felt like our inquiries were met with annoyance rather than a genuine desire to resolve the situation.
Furthermore, the staff's communication was poor, which only added to our discomfort. The staff did not even wish us an enjoyable meal, leaving us feeling neglected and uncomfortable.
To make matters worse, we were not the only table that faced issues. We observed neighbouring lunches experiencing similar challenges.
In summary, while the restaurant has a charming ambience, its service leaves much to be desired. To ensure a more positive dining experience, improvements in communication, attitude, and attentiveness are...
Read moreFood was ok. But what ruined the experience was that some of the staff was not so friendly/helpful. Some waiters did not give you the opportunity to ask questions when they came and serve you. So felt very rushed.
Got my food on a plate that was partly broken. Ordered a crunchy wasabi burger with the sauce on the side so I could taste it before I put it on the burger and it did not come with the plate. When I asked about it the waiter while walking away said that the sauce was on there. Had to call another waiter and physically show her that there was no sauce on my burger. She then still did not believe me and gaslit me saying it was on there, but told me that she was gonna get more (implying that there was already some sauce on the burger). Made me feel so bad and uncomfortable. I started doubting myself but in the end when the sauce (picture left on top) came I definitely knew I was right as there as nothing that looked like the sauce on my burger.
Ate our food and left as I did not feel comfortable raising concerns anymore. Not looking forward to go here again. Super sad and disappointed cause I came here before and loved...
