I’ve never set foot in this place but an online order left me so impressed with the service I had to leave a review. I was after a specific cake for a friends birthday and couldn’t find this cake on any of the usual websites. Het Bakkertje had some! Vegan baked goods! Thank you for your kindness! I was only in Den Haag for a half day and stumbled upon this bakery by chance. Upon recommendation I ordered the Kersenflap and it was magnificent: baked to perfection with a light crispy outside textured by large sugar granules with airy soft layers inside and a jam that intimidates all other jams. I often go to this lovely bakery to have a quick lunch with tasty panini. Personally, I love the one with goatcheese, but my boyfriend goes out of mind for the one with roastbeef. Lots of yummy combinations anyways! I tried the focaccia (without mayo it would be the perfect Italian focaccia!), the croissants and some other desserts: my favourite one is the American brownie, since I love chocolate.
