Barista Cafe Frederikstraat — Restaurant in The Hague

When I entered everything was fine, I got my coffee and food within a short period of time. Unfortunately, the subsequent hour no one checked anymore on me, didn't ask me if I want anything else. When the waitress came with the bill (unasked) I ordered another coffee with milk. It came without, I had to go behind the waitress since she ignored me and ask for it at the counter. This would usually not border me at all since the place also got more busy. But then the staff just simply ignored me, didn't bring the milk and I couldn't even get them to me for the bill with waving. It was a really unpleasant situation and I don't understand why I got...

As I recently moved to the neighbourhood, I fell in love with this place, due to excellent coffee and its cosiness. However, after coming for a few days, this morning the waitress took away my unfinished cappuccino whilst I was in the restroom. I told her that and she started apologizing, saying she would bring me another thing right away. I opted for an espresso. Imagine my surprise when they charged me for both drinks, even though the waitress apologized and offered another drink. I told them that, but they still charged me for both drinks. Now, this is not customer service and I will no longer patronize their business....

This place is a joke. I went there today to buy a pack of grinded beans. I was told that they do not sell grinded beans as it would take too long. Since my grinder is in repair I have currently no use for whole beans. But that does not matter since it literally takes 20s to grind a portion of 500g. However the girl behind the counter was very irritated by my request and was not shy in showing it either! There are a lot nice coffee places around with friendly staff who actually listens to their customer and not just intent to sell them a cup of coffee in-house for 4.5€! Try to avoid this...
