Cheesecake Co. — Restaurant in The Hague

Oh what a disappointment. Where shall I start? Pastry is an art, a way of life, a craft where the creator combines flavours and textures to magnify the ingredients and flatter the senses.

Let me blandly (like these pieces of cheesecake hit me) say that the ingredients were not magnified, and my senses were not flattered.

What were they thinking when making these cakes? Nobody knows. Have they even tasted them? I shall hope not.

They all look colourful, appealing, promising. They are all tasteless, dry, misleading, disappointing. They all look different and all taste the same, no identity, no fireworks, a heart broken by empty promises.

As the French would say « Non merci, c’est vraiment grossir...

The best cheesecakes you will eat in NL! The place and its staff are very nice. It is just so pleasant to be at the cheesecake company to have a delicious treat and a coffee, and also to chat with the staff. If the weather is too bad and you don’t feel like biking there, It is possible for the cheesecakes to be delivered to you through Deliveroo and other apps.

The Staff was super friendly. The cheesecakes looked so delicious and there were a lot to choose from but unfortunately the lemon and maple pecan were both very bland. I don't know if we just had bad luck but both pieces weren't sweet enough. I would say that there was almost no sugar in them. The consistency of the cheese was also off. It was not creamy at all. Very firm cheese. The crust did not have much flavor as well. Too bad. As we were just visiting for a few days we won't be able to give them...
