It started when we came 30 minutes prior to our booked time. We were welcomed by a very unfriendly waiter. While asking whether or not it’s possible to already get the table he cut my sentence and tried to talk us off even though there were still empty tables outside. After showing him and underlining that we booked an outside table he eventually let us sit down. Despite this the menu looked great and we were still excited to eat in this well-recommended restaurant. When the waiter came again (continuously chewing gum) to our table to note down the order, we told him the drinks and antipasti but weren’t ready with the main dish yet and told him so. Instead of coming back later, he insisted that „it will get too busy“ and that he needs to take the full order at once. Not expecting such an answer, I had to quickly decide for a main dish in front of the waiter. Apart from the fact he did not answer nor deliver the dishes friendly, the Bruscetta came quickly and was very good. On our main meal, I received the wrong pasta and upon telling him he simply took it away and left me in the dark and us with only one dish. He came back around 15-20 minutes later with the correct pasta (gnocchi) and a „sorry“ but in the end i had to eat „alone“. Again it was a very fresh and tasty pasta At this point he more or less stopped talking when he came to our table. He basically just „did his job“ as in removing the plates, laying down the menu card again for the desserts etc.

All in all, the food was good, the experience definitely not. We didn’t expect such an behavior after reading the...

Food is mediocre lately, entry plate is poorly served compared to what it was 2y ago. Pasta overcooked. Focaccia borderline burnt. Don't know what changed.

But regarding service: They have very unpleasant management,

Had a disagreement with the restaurant manager who was very rude and disrespectfull, lying blank into my face while arrogantly chewing gum. Our Uber order was cancelled by them for lack of drivers. The restaurant said it was ready to pick up nevertheless but I had to pay again. Uber would refund me but also pay them for preparing (which they initially denied, but at the end admitted) When I arrived the food was labelled paid for already. Even though it was now 2h old and overcooked, I felt like I was in an Italian movie with the "offer I couldn't refuse". You want the food, you pay again, its cold, you should microwave (!) he said. I ended up paying full price, 100€, for cold food they were supposed to throw away and the restaurant got paid twice. Plain dishonest, borderline scam.

There were plenty of ways to be customer friendly, first of all just don't lie to me, And maybe offer a discount for the degraded food and trouble, since I had to go all the way over there. Lost more than an hour with this and we had the food 3h late, cold and overcooked. They were already being paid for the food anyway. But greedy was their option. They clearly don't care about returning business. Oh, he gave me a 2€ bottle of wine for my trouble...seems to be their passe-partout when...

Fantastic food yesterday! Very educated service and treatment. Unfortunately at the end of the evening a couple from Turin, Italy, sat next to my friend and I. We both have roots from Napoli(Naples), Italy. In their ignorance I assume, they told us never to speak with people from the South of Italy, because of their prejudices. We told them I was Dutch and my friend from Brasile, to see how they responded. Such a shame that in a country like Italy, where the South since the Roman time has always been wealthy and prosperous until the Republic of Italy was founded in 1863. As a result of the political centre moving from capital Naples (kingdom Naples&Sicily) towards Rome, a new era started with help from the industrial revolution. The North became significantly more developed in an economical and industrial way. In combination with the first and second WW the South became more isolated and economically left behind due to political and local influences.... Long story short. The South has been wealthy and helping the North since the Roman history and now the Northern people since 1863 see the Southerns as lazy and olive picking, mandolin playing plebs while their factory's of fiat, lancia and alpha romeo are still runned by workers from the South. ❤️ History should be passed on and shared by facts, not by ignorance. Lova and peace...

The restaurant is perfect. The decor is elegant but also comforting and warm. You see a lot of wine bottles and various objects that remind me of a well-kept home in the countryside, one where you stay nice and cosy with good food and wine. The tables are small and close enough together that you have a pleasant and lively ambiance, without feeling overwhelming. The food is perfect. We tried the carpaccio, bruschetta, ossobuco and a ragout specialty they had, along with a bottle of valpolicella classico (which I was told is a popular choice). Every dish was more than just the star ingredient, coming with nice dressings and delicious garnishes. You could really “eat” with your eyes. I can’t say much more, it was amazing. Special mention to the affogato for dessert which was one of the best we ever had. Finally, the staff and Andrea (our waiter and maybe soon a celebrity) are also perfect. Kind, knowledgeable, attentive and also very charming. Working with people all day can be tiring sometimes, but they make it look easy. If you read this, it was a pleasure to be guests at your restaurant! We have a great memory thanks to you. We will refresh this memory in the future for sure!

we ordered the pizza with Italian ham, mushroom, smoked cheese the Ragu Pasta and the steak. it wasn't really crowded so the food came in fast :-) so the Pizza came first so we digged in...the dough is pretty soft but not the softest I have eaten but still really good! the ham had a nice salty taste to it which kicks the pizza nicely. The pasta and the Steak came together. You can taste that the pasta is freshly made! it was real al dente and that's what i like about pasta...it should be a bit chewy but not too chewy :-) The steak was medium cooked and was already sliced nicely so you don't have to struggle by yourself...but when you put the meat in your mouth it tastes so good! After we've paid the bill we got them classic question, which you also get in Rome/Venice, do you want a glass of Limoncello? wow this shot is strong and really nice for warming yourself up! the energizer to leave the restaurant electrified!
