My favourite place in The Hague. Yes, I get the other reviews complaining about the service / the owner's attitude. I can understand that people look for someone who welcomes them, who makes them feel well attended to and so on and usually I do the same. In this case, however, I really like that Marianne is just being herself. That is one thing I like about her. She is doing her thing, and is very authentic doing that. In turn, I feel like I don't have to put on a show when I turn up either. Sometimes I go alone, and often times that is seen as weird but not in her place. In the end she didn’t accept individual payments (it was just drinks, about 10 people) and forced us to get one person to pay for everybody. The place was virtually empty and yet she didn’t appear to welcome new customers. I will NEVER go back and I will discourage...
