De Overkant — Restaurant in The Hague

Came here because I saw the photo of shakshuka, but pity they don’t serve it anymore. Tried hummus pita instead, and we also got wrap gevulde met gegrilde kip and a omelet with bruin brood. The staff told us it might be too much food for two people but end up it’s good enough to feed two hungry persons who just finished bouldering 🙊the portion is perhaps a bit small for people with big appetite, otherwise it’s absolutely enough. Staffs are very friendly. Quite good value of money as well for lunch. Oh, just one minor thing, the egg of omelette was a it tasteless, probably the chef forgot to add salt, but that’s compensated by the nice weather and the big smile the...

Went there for a coffee and walked out having had a carrot & orange juice with ginger, an utmost delectable bacon and avocado sandwich, a carrot cake, and a coffee -- with a huge smile. I will most certainly return to De Overkant next time i'm in the Hague for more of that, and to say hi to the excellent gentleman who recommended...
