DuckRabbit Coffee Brewers — Restaurant in The Hague

One of the best - if not the best - coffee places of the Hague. As a huge coffee lover myself, I came in to Duck Rabbit with a low expection (being causious is good, right?). Inside, I asked the owner, "-Wesley-" for a recommended filter. We started talking, and I had an amazing colombian anarobic coffee.

Besides the coffee, Wesley's energy makes everybody feel at ease and welcome. His passion and love are infectious and a comfort for every soul. No matter your state of mind, nothing beats a moment of being in a coffee bubble.

My taste buds are coffee familiar, so as I started to think about the flavors, I noticed a warm feeling rose. It was nostalgia in a cup for me. The coffee reminded me of a hot summer day in amsterdam. Me and my friend devoured a huge watermelon, just her and I. Once we were done, we tried to eat the last bits from the rind of the melon. It tasted sweet, juicy, and slight bitter exactly what was in my cup.

This time of year, the weather outside was cold and wet. But in my heart, it was warm like the previous summer days spent outside with a tasty watermelon and a lovely friend.

Food: The workers definitely know their coffee beans really well. They are happy to talk with you and help you choose the right beans for your filter coffee depending on what you like. Simultaneously, even the non-filter coffee beverages are prepared with the perfect espressos, making them delicious! The cakes are a story on their own, with interesting flavors and beautiful appearance. However every time we had one it was rather dry, which took away from their flavor. Hence, one star less for the food.

Service: As already mentioned, the staff is very helpful and very knowledgeable. They are willing to give you their time and advice, and will even check up on you. Such nice people!
