Friet District — Restaurant in The Hague

Great fries with very nice mayonnaise; and a quality cola!

Located in a picturesque street in the Hague, this shop looks very clean and cozy, while being a relatively small shop. The Manu isn't 20 pages long, but small and to the point. This leads me to believe what they serve is served well.

The food is really good, with a nice mayonnaise; resembling Belgian mayonnaise for its sour taste. The drinks are from Fritz Kola, which is a very nice alternative to the somewhat chemically tasting Coca Cola; and Fritz has many other flavours as well.

In terms of price it's not cheap, especially compared to a snack bar, but you do get what pay for, meaning:...

We have been ordering frequently at Friet District, not only because their fries are great, but even more importantly because their chicken burgers, nuggets, croquets had an artisanal extra that was really worth their price. Although the fries are still up to par, the same can't be said of the chicken burgers, chicken nuggets and the croquet we received this time. They really took a dive in quality (and are to the level what you get everywhere) The prices are till the same though but really no longer justified....

Ahmed is warm and welcoming, and the food he provides is exceptional! We must visit every time we pass through the city - whether we’re there for one week or one day. If you like fries - you haven’t tried anything before you try these ones. They’re the best we’ve ever had - served hot and fresh, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.
