Thai Signature — Restaurant in The Hague

My wife had been to this establishment a while back and raved about the food. So I called to confirm that they would be able to cater for vegan/vegetarian diets and so we went! Really nice ambience, cool lookout and not so busy for Friday night. Unfortunately limited staff meant that the server was not too friendly; in a real hurry. Choices for our diet were very restricted and I was really disappointed with the flavor profile. We ordered tofu satay, yellow curry with/veg and oyster sauce stir fry with tofu with rice. Relatively small portions aswell so not good value for money. Also a little disappointed they charged extra for peanut...

We saw that many people received the appertizer of the house, but we didn't. We ordered special desserts, but these were unavailable. The starters were all grounded with the same sauce, and the tomatoe in our soup was later also found in the salad (literally the other half). Overall, the kitchen made a tired impression. Also, it took 20 minutes before we could order drinks.

Finally, when we passed on our desserts we did not receive anything complimentary. So overall overpriced for what you are getting.

Ow yeah, funny thing, the Thai Signature beer menu only contained Dutch...

We were two families that visited Thai Signature for Friday dinner between Christmas and New Year. We were a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters. Every dish we ordered was tasty, authentic and perfectly cooked. We ended up ordering more food as everyone enjoyed it. The dessert options are particularly good, especially the fried ice-cream.
