We had an amazing dinner in this Thai restaurant. We ordered a soup, a curry, a chicken dish and another vegetarian dish with tofu. All the main dishes took a good amount of time to be cooked, which means that everything was fresh and cooked at the moment and not simply reheated. Indeed, the kitchen was quite big and there were at least 4 people working there. All the dishes were super tasty and fresh and we had a good amount of rice per person. I had the coconut chicken curry and it was absolutely delicious. I tried other Thai places in Den Haag but this was simply the best. The prices might be slightly more expensive than other Thai places, but it's totally worth it. On top of that, the menu clearly indicates which allergens are present in every dish. This was great because I was having dinner with a celiac person that had to eat gluten free food. Luckily, there were a lot of dishes without gluten so that was not a problem. The whole menu was actually very large, with a lot of choice for both the main dishes and the starters.
Lastly, we also had a good experience with the waiters and owner. We were charged incorrectly for a bottle of wine we never had but we only noticed it the next day. We went back to the restaurant to complain and the owner recognized the error and was very kind with us. He reimbursed us the whole value of the bottle. We will...
Read moreI must say I wish I would have read the newest reviews on here. Like those before me, this is probably the saddest Pad Thai I’ve ever had in my life, even worse it was the dish I was looking forward to eating the most.
When you order delivery the idea comes about because you don’t have any desire to cook. Unfortunately, I paid €18,50 for a Pad Thai to be delivered to my house and I STILL had to cook it myself in order to make it edible.
When the Pad Thai arrived the peanuts had already been added which made them soft and soggy. The noodles were completely slimy and stuck together. There was absolutely no trace of vegetable in the Pad Thai. What’s more is that it’s advertised with egg and there was none.
In total I received, white slimy noodles, covered in some type of clear, gravy sauce, with some small pieces of fried tofu, a lime slice some chili flakes and the peanuts I previously mentioned.
as I can see from the reviews previously listed on their Google page, it’s safe to say that they have probably never been great at Pad Thai. Which is fine, but please just take it off...
Read moreFirst and last time… actually regret it as the competition is much better on many fronts in terms of taste, price/affordability and service. Food was decent, one dish better than the other (depends on which chef cooks your meal). Pad Thai noodles not recommended, not just the noodles the chicken was a letdown as well. Pricey compared to other Thai restaurants in the city. The biggest disappointment was when the bill came.. inflation is understood but there really isn’t an excuse for the ridiculous price of water € 7,- for a 750 ml bottle, felt like a complete ripoff and we couldn’t have known as the bottle is strategically placed on the table and the price is nowhere to be found on the menu… The host was so-so but after paying he did not come back with the change, considered the change to be a tip but this should not be expected — no matter the amount. In need of improvement but definite...
