Café de Zaak — Restaurant in Utrecht

Very cozy, but we just arrived before they went to close at the final round. I got served 2 beers for 2 persons and than I wanted to change order to 4 beers instead as I did not understand it was the final round. But the bar guy refused (which is sad but understandable, I respect the rules) however it got a bit weird when 15 minutes later another group got served an additional 7 beers and a couple next to us 2 more shots.

:( my girlfriend and I basically stared at each other for 30 minutes wondering what just happened and why others get served and we don't... a bit unfair...

Special offer: Bring your own food —that's how we got here in the first place. We ordered some delicious food next door at Papi's Comfort Kitchen and were welcome to have cool beers and as my company said "the best lemonade he ever drank" while enjoying our snacks.

The staff is friendly with a professional overview over the spacious terrace with every table having guests who were being served their orders with a smile in no time.

Lovely little student pub that usually has a good atmosphere. While there's not much space inside they have a terrace as well and service is friendly and generally quick (depending on how busy it is). You can also bring your own food, and they offer a simple and cheap breakfast. As it is a well-known student dwelling, you may or may not want to go there in the evening...
