The fries are subpar and there is no attention to detail. For example, after cutting the potato, everything is thrown into the fryer, rather than first removing the parts that are too small. Those small parts burn faster, which gives a burn that both degrades the fat, as well as gives a burnt flavor (and smell, as one notices when being inside).
The shop is managed by a few students, which doesn't aid the quality.
For everyone wanting to try good Dutch fries, make sure to go somewhere else instead: There are so many places with much better fries in the Netherlands (and Belgium)!

Our fault to not check correctly the opening hours, we run, didn’t really believe that we can make it on time and be able to try our first Dutch bitterballen and chips! 🙏 Big thanks to the two guys, I am not sure but I think one name was Bruno 😀 you guys served us delicious food, one of the best chips we have ever eaten 🎉 with crazy sauces.
