It's been two weeks since I ordered from here and I hoped I would not write the same angry review, but even after so long time I am shocked because of the bad service this place can offer. I ordered through Uber eats and it was supposed to come in one hour, but it came in 2.5h. after one hour I called every half an hour and the answer was the same: it is on the way. During each call, I had to repeat my address at least three times and spent at least 10 minutes on the call to hear the same excuse. After calling 3 times I could not believe that they passed me from one to the other and after so many "sorry" from a woman who could not understand that it is in no way acceptable to wait that long for food, I had to ask her to call the delivery guy. They did or at least they said so. They informed me he will come in 6 minutes. He came in 15 while the place is 13 min by bike from my apartment.
That was not even all. When the food came, 2 items were missing. I had to call again and they passed the phone around to three people and had to repeat my address to all of them and could not find even someone to apologise. They were: "you want us to send the Naans" Like who would say yes after 3.5h of already waiting for the food?
Two weeks later, I still believe I never imagined so bad service can exist and so arrogance and inability to serve can be found in the "hospitality" field. Even if they forgot about my order, since the first call which took place after one hour, they still had 1.5h to prepare the food and deliver all the items.
The woman's excuse was that food is prepared on the spot. The food is just ok. It does not have an amazing quality that justifies the waiting or the money.
Of course, she used the classic excuse of "it is crowded" but if you look at all their comments you would see that they are simply not prepared to work in this field.
My advice: if you want to order, order at lunchtime for dinner so you know for sure it will come in time. Also, when it comes, check...
Read moreThis Meal Was a Scam with a Side of Attitude 3 complaints: 1st complaint: Catfished by Chicken.
I ordered the “Student Meal 1” expecting what was shown in the photo: juicy drumsticks, maybe even some hope. What I got instead? Three suspiciously dry thumbnail-sized pieces of chicken breast that looked like they lost a fight with a microwave. Not even a sprinkle of seasoning to mourn the loss. Calling this a "meal" feels like false advertising and an insult to actual students everywhere.
2nd complaint: Customer service with a side of confusion.
Called to track my order and got hung up on mid-sentence. Not because I was rude, unless politely asking someone to repeat themselves is offensive now? I left a note to call me on arrival. Spoiler: they didn’t. When I called them back, they said they took the food back to the restaurant. At that point, I’m convinced this meal was never meant for me. Maybe they were protecting me from their own cooking.
3rd complaint: Delivery so slow, I evolved.
It took 2.5 hours to deliver a sad bowl of rice and the Sahara’s driest chicken. By the time it arrived, I was spiritually fasting and had already gone through the five stages of grief. The only thing this meal...
Read moreOrdered for the first time via Uber Eats, and most probably also the last time.
First of all the food is unnecessarily expensive, on top of that you pay €0.5 for packing per item ordered and €3.95 for delivery, which adds on approx. €5.00 on top of already expensive food. Order was placed for Dal Makhni, but yellow dal was delivered to us, which I have seen with couple of restaurants now, they try to fool Dutch people by serving yellow dal as Dal Makhni, which is quite dishonest on their part. When we called the restaurant to point this out, I was given a reason that we only sent it because Dal Makhni was over. Seriously? I would assume a decent restaurant will call their customer to inform/confirm them for a change in order. When ordering for first time, I always order a safe option, which is Chicken Tikka Masala, because most of the Indian restaurant in Netherlands make curries too sweet, but at the least Chicken Tikka Masala is still fine. I was surprised with the fact that they even made CTM sweet and added coconut to it. And of course food colour to...
