Their lunch deal isn't the same as what you see on their website. It's about 20% less choices, mostly the special dishes are off the table. Besides that, the dishes and service were average.
Longer story: We visited on a Friday afternoon and chose the Lunch menu. The service is pretty quick and one of the waiter was very friendly, so those things were nice. Also, some dishes were actually twsty, e.g. Fried banana, Wings, Sui mai, Coco pudding, Flamed salmon and Eel sushi's.
But those were pretty much the highlights. The lunch menu turned out to be more limited than what they say on their website. Many dishes were not that well. The sashimi on the sashimi salad was still cold from the freezer and most of the special roles (Urumaki?) were prepared with older and harder rice. I assume they didn't expect that many tables during lunch today so decided to use up the left-overs from yesterday. At least, that is what I hope and that this isn't their usual quality. 4 out of 5 warm dishes ruined by too much sauce, resulting in a very strong tasting and salty dish. Watch out for the grilled salmon and white fish, and the mushrooms. Oh, such a waste it was...
Overall, I would mark this place as average at most. We don't see any reason to visit here soon again, especially not for...

Would NOT recommend miso soup and mussles (WAY TOO SALTY).
But everything else is fine, especially salmon sashimi is part of the all you can eat menu, big scores !
Some of the staff lack were a bit confused :)
One of our friends waa picking some of the fried onion left over in the dish, but the staff came in and pick up the dish. I mean, it's accidental because Dutch people would almost never pick the fried onions left over as a snack while waiting for the next round, but we have a taste for it, especually while waiting.
Then she saw that he was still trying to pick it up as she lifted the plate, she put it down asking him if he still wanted it 😂😂, hilarious stuff =))
But ok, some minor cultural clash I guess =))
Overall, we had a good time, food was good. Deserts are ok, our best choices for ice cream are Green tea Citroen / lemonade Black sesame
As we often find ice cream in NL way too swear for our taste, we tend to look for flavors that are not purely sweet.
Vanllia, mango, strawberry dont suit our taste as they are too...
Read moreI ate here together with a friend on a friday evening (with no reservation).
The food was passable quality (standout being the salmon which tasted very fresh), but the 'kimbap' they served was anything but kimbap (and just tasted very bad). I've had much better sushi in other places, and even when ordering takeaway.
The server at the entrance was nice and explained the system to us clearly (you can order your dishes through the website). The rest of the wait staff seemed to be either in a rush or just unhappy/stressed out. In the first round, the warm dishes that we ordered never came, which was extremely disappointing, since we were hungry.
The atmosphere was alright, the place looks nice enough, but where we sat the seats were quite small, so anyone taller than 1,85 will have a hard time sitting there.
Important to note, the menu outside doesn't 100% match with what's being served, so keep that in mind.
All in all not a terrible place, but there are much better options...
