I’ve never written a bad review before, but this was the rudest service we have ever experienced.

I visited with my mom yesterday and ordered a caffe latte with an espresso on the side. Instead, I was served a chai. When I politely pointed out the mistake, the dark-haired waitress insisted I had ordered chai—despite my mom overhearing the order and confirming otherwise.

When the replacement drink was served, it was still wrong. Rather than taking responsibility or apologizing, the waitress became argumentative, rude, and unnecessarily loud. To make matters worse, she laughed about the situation with other staff members, which was so unprofessional and disrespectful.

I understand they were busy and that mistakes happen—that I can accept. What I cannot accept is how this situation was handled. There was no accountability, no sincerity, and no professionalism. In all our years of dining out, we have never experienced such rude behaviour from a member of staff. While the café itself is nice, this incident completely spoiled our visit. This is an extremely cute place; I stumbled upon it by complete accident and I am so glad I did. I had a chai latte and a cardamom bun. The latter is to die for: it's not too sweet, you can smell and taste the delicate flavours of cardamom (it's not too overpowering) and it's just perfection on a plate. But most importantly, the staff of the cafe are so warm and welcoming. They are kind enough to spend time with you to navigate the menu and are also very kind! Overall, 10/5. This vegan bakery offers delicious basic and fancy cakes and other baked goods such as cookies 🍪 The cakes are always delicious and vary from time to time. There’s always a basic selection of banana bread, pumpkin loaf, lemon poppy seed loaf, a cookie and more. Then there are changing special cakes.

They have oat milk as a standard milk but also offer almond milk! Their chai is nice, the coffee as well. Staff is quick and friendly!
