We were lucky to get a table at the edge of the canal. Great location. Indoor & outdoor seating. Fab perch to watch groups motoring along the canal. Drinks were fine, food offering was bit poor. Crispy cauliflower was not crispy or even tasty , the calamari was also a disappointment. The best dish was the Camembert. See pic for pricing. Sitting next to the oude gracht, it's a great place to experience the various beers of this great brewer. Their alcohol free or low beers are a distinctive difference from other bars in Utrecht, but their dark, barrel aged and higher in alcohol beers are wonderful as well. Nice place but pretty dark, hot, and humid in the cellar. Food was quite disappointing, especially the portion sizes. The starter and main course were way to small. The sides of the main course were both twice the size of the main course itself. Flavours were good though. Canned beer was way too warm, the draft beer was nice and cold. Staff were nice too.
