When looking for a hotel in Valkenburg, I bumped into this B&B on another travel website where it got very high ratings. I now know why: it's great! If you're looking for a luxurious, trendy place to stay, don't look here. But if you value a simple, yet crispy clean room, with a good bed, a good television, a small but nice bathroom AND fantastic service this is the place to be. ||||The rooms are located above a Greek restaurant - and although the restaurant itself might look a bit outdated, the rooms are not. They're a good enough size, crispy clean, and perfectly fine for a comfortable stay. The walls are very thin though, so you're bound to hear your neighbours. I can imagine that if you have a room on the front you might hear the noises from the street.||||The breakfast is great! Not a buffet or anything, but you get service at the table. Need more coffee? Done! Want an extra egg or bread? No problem! Are you sure you've had enough? Need anything else? The service in this B&B/hotel is fantastic! The owners will go to lengths to make your stay as nice as possible, without making you feel uncomfortable about it. They make you feel at home, in a relaxed kind of way. ||||Children are welcome in this B&B as well, and next time we'll be staying here we'll bring our little boy with us. At social deal it is described as all you can eat but it is not exactly like that. You have 5 rounds consisting of 5 plates each. The plates are small like in sushi bars but still i cannot say i was hungry at the end. The food was abundant. Meat dishes were very tasty (especially the bifteki). Sweets were a nice surprise, very tasty as well. Also the personnel very friendly and polite.
