Table not ready when reserved. Had to ask for placing an order.

"Mijn collega komt zo bij u" mentioned. Very sad.

Serving is a professionalism, putting youngster in serving position is something to reconsider. Was sitting at the bar, while waiting for the table and the bar tender girl asked another employee, who is ordering tomato juice. Why would and what kind of person order this. Keep those internal chats from the customer and dont let that kind of unprofessional people running your business.

We asked if we could place or orders and be done by 20:00. She said she didnt know. The only right answer was, we will make that happen.

Overall, the serving quality is even for european standards very very poor. Rather take the minimum loan out, and let them work for their money.

Food quality was ok, but the amount of unprofessional serving actions made it a sad experience. Due to covid you had 2 years to build a good team. Is a shame we spend our taxes to support this kind of businesses during covid and this is what we...

Tried this restaurant through a voucher deal, family dinner of 4, we booked a table for dinner starting at 5pm. At arrival they couldnt find our reservation while we got the booking confirmation. They however seated us after a couple of minutes. Next issue started, we waited for about 30min to get our drinks after ordering. And it took about 1hour before we got our starters. All while the restaurant was pretty empty! We were one of the first guests there. Our kids were getting tired and bored of the long waiting at some point. Usually you would be about done with dinner after 60min to 75min minutes tops. So this was way too long for us. A waiter would only come to our table every 20-30min to check on us and sometimes we wouldn't even see one if we wouldn't call for their attention ourselves. It's a shame that the service is that bad because the food was pretty good. We do not recommend this restaurant for people who have not a lot of patience...and free up at least 2hours and more of your time if you want...

Merdan is, without a doubt, the best waiter at Novels. He is extremely professional, kind, attentive, and dedicated – a true example of excellence in the art of hospitality. From now on, whenever we return here, we will make a reservation and specifically request to have him as our waiter.

We would like to mention that in the past, we had less pleasant experiences with another waiter and one of the managers, whose behavior was arrogant and tactless. We are a group of 8 people, and we all agree that these colleagues could learn a lot from Merdan – both in terms of attitude and professionalism.
