I wish I could give this place a minus. I love Nandos and usually visit the Botany, Manukau or Takanini branch. However, the closest branch to work is Lunn Ave. Went here for lunch once, I had to phone order as I inky have a half hour lunch, nobody picked the phone up, when eventually someone did, they hung up on me. I then got through again and asked the person why they hung up and they said they have heard the phone ring! When I ordered the tenderloins meal (hot with extra basting), I got back to work and found there was NO basting. It was like eating bland grilled chicken, also for a takeaway, there was no cutlery. I complained and Amy from headquarters was kind enough to give me a voucher, but to my dismay, it was only valid for this branch. Again, communication issues, didn't understand a word they said. When I got there, I stood in line for 20 minutes behind only 2 other customers. How hard is it to get an order right after 2 attempts? So I got to the counter, presented my voucher and the girl wasn't sure how to use it, she got another member of staff to check it, and hadn't even communicated my order to her, so the second staff member takes my voucher and says "it'll be 15-20 minutes" not even knowing what is ordered. And I looked at her baffled and said " I ordered half an hour ago" and she says "ok then it'll be half an hour". I'm not sure any of them really understand customers and they're also hard to communicate with. Eventually she realised is phone ordered. Got home and was no extra basting yet again, however it was still better than the last time, at least it was actually hot like I like it! I hope someone takes action. Service is so bad after they renovated. And I can't go to Sylvia park...
Read moreI was very disappointed, my food was basically dribbled to us a plate at a time which resulted in me needing to share my own dinner with my son's aged 15 and 9, and literally only half my dinner because the other half came later, the waitress forgot half of our entire order. We felt service was basically non existent because we had to get all our own utensils an sauces ourselves and that's after watching other tables being served properly. My broccoli was super dry, they forgot our desert so they gave us half of that and had to cook 2 more, that was brought to us completely disfigured and unpresentable...I was put off and after spending over $100 on our order I was very disappointed. The young man who ended up trying to help fix it kindly offered us a free drink to compensate which I couldn't accept as I'd had enough but felt sorry for him to have to apologize for the inconsiderate and unprofessional incompetence of his entire team... Not good enough and I will not be eating there again. I felt very ripped off and left still hungry as these portions are not worth the amount of money spent. Burger King and mc Donald's offers better portions than this restaurant. But thankyou to the young man who tried to help. Other tables has to wait long periods of time for food. I'd recommend further training in hospitality for ur staff and better food. At least dress it up a bit because that was very plain and I've seen basic sandwiches that look more appetizing than the chicken dinner I was served...

I had pre ordered some peri peri fries around 10-15 mins (the lady on the phone said they’d be 10mins) before I showed up to get them. I then proceeded to wait, I had only ordered an extremely large fries... I thought it’s fine they look a little busy, I’m sure they’re frying me up some fresh ones. I also noticed when I got there that there was a extremely large fries sitting to be bagged. Finally after another 10 mins of waiting the lady calls my name and proceeds to bag up the now soggy fries that had been sitting out since before I got there. I was shocked, surely if they were going to give me old fries they would have bagged them and given them to me as soon as I got there? I asked the lady if she could make me fresh ones and pointed out that the ones she had given me had been sitting out since before I got there. After saying they were busy she then agreed. Finally she called my name again and gives me my fries hooray. However when I get back to my car I notice that they are the same old fries and that they’d just been dunked back into the fryer. There was next to no peri peri salt on them, they were plain. And when I got home I found a hair in them!!! Gross!!!
Extremely upset by the whole experience, just the plain disregard for basic customer service...
