Our experience with Bluebells Cakery, which was nothing short of a disaster. The lack of professionalism and care was astounding. This is a warning to others considering them for their wedding.
Firstly, the quality of the cake from Bluebells Cakery was a major letdown. For a wedding, you expect a cake that is both delicious and beautifully presented. Sadly, the cake we received was bland and forgettable, a far cry from the standard one would expect from a reputed bakery.
The delivery service only added to our troubles. The cake was not delivered at the scheduled time, causing unnecessary chaos in our carefully planned wedding day. It’s clear that Bluebells Cakery does not understand the importance of timing and coordination in such significant events.
Adding to the fiasco was the consultation process. We were provided a cake that was embarrassingly small for our number of guests, despite having clearly communicated our requirements. What was supposed to be a centerpiece of our celebration turned into a source of embarrassment.
The response from Bluebells Cakery post-wedding was equally disappointing. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes and rectifying them, they chose to deflect blame and offer superficial excuses. This lack of accountability and dismissive attitude toward our concerns was incredibly frustrating.
Choosing Bluebells Cakery for our wedding cake was a regrettable decision. Their failure in both product and service has left a bitter memory of what should have been a joyous aspect of our wedding. I strongly advise anyone looking for a wedding cake to consider other bakeries that respect and understand the significance of such...
Read moreWe were celebrating our 2 year anniversary and had been kindly gifted a voucher by friends. Booking was smooth and simple with Charlotte, the booking made for the following day. Upon arrive we were greeting and seated by the lovely Kiera who looked after us for the afternoon. The Zealong NZ teas were wonderful, my partner particularly liked the Lady Gatsby blend. The savories provided were all very flavoursome, the quiche was especially nice. Whilst all the sweets were amazing, I specifically enjoyed the cheesecake whilst partner enjoyed the mini-cupcakes. Thanks to our friends we had extra on the voucher and were able to take away goodies for later. The Lemon crumble slice as suggested by Kiera was our favourite with the salted caramel a very close second.
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend High Tea for anyone wanting to treat themselves or a loved one for a special occasion. The food and service were amazing and the slices were outstanding. We didn't yet try the cupcakes, but we're finding an excuse to go back again soon.
Thank you Charlotte, Kiera and team for a memorable anniversary...
Read moreThis review is specific to the value for money and in no way a reflection of the customer service as the customer service was lovely.
We were caught up with the brunch rush so it was fairly noisy but weren't too bothered as we understand that's the norm for cafes at that time
We had the Vegan High Tea at $55 per person and were not impressed.
With the Normal high tea being the same cost but with more options we thought that maybe the Vegan High Tea portions would be adjusted due to the lack of options.
We were mistaken, the sausage roll was a literal bite, the filo was hardly filled and the sandwiches were a literal sandwich cut into triangles with the filling being quite bland.
Sorry team but at this time it did not live up to a good experience.
The best part was the Coffee and customer service as the ladies were lovely.
I would suggest since there are less options on the tiers then adjust the sizing.
We also purchased a cake which we pre ordered as we were attending a birthday after and were surprised with the size and the cost.
We will be returning to our normal cake lady as raised was not good...
