Kebab King — Restaurant in Albert-Eden

Honestly, I must not have been thinking to try a place without first checking the reviews but alas we went to the food court and it's a mistake we won't be making again in a hurry. There was a woman coughing and I couldnt see where they were. You could tell by the sound that they were not trying to cover their mouth and I looked behind the counter all i could see was a man so I thought it was safe but then i see a woman cooking the chicken after I made my order. Why was she cooking the chicken when she was sick and when its already been cooked on the skewer? Then I walk away and come back there is no lady to be seen but i hear the coughing. Oh no i thought. I tried to have one bite the chicken was so dry and horrible. Once more i hear coughing and that's that my partner saw my reactions and asked me if I wanted him to get me a refund which ofc I said yes. Also the man serving is touching money, the register and then the food, no gloves. I love kebabs but this has put me off them...

Seriously the worst service ever !!Went this place expecting to have a nice lunch while ordering the food salad looked abit funny asked the guy he said it’s beetroot well we never seen a brown beetroot, anyways food was served , the Salad which was so called beetroot salad tasted off went to the guy he said it was kept in freezer and if we don’t like then we sud put them aside n eat the rest!!!! like seriously wat if we get sick, we New Zealanders are not use to eating garbage !! , low standard!! low food grade!! how are they operating here in New Zealand , what’s wrong with food safety even !! You will be sick after eating that kebab from that shop. I ate one kebab at dine in. Spitt out the salad that time but didn't tell them anything ,thinking sometimes it may happen. But the one took at home, same thing,couldn't eat. They use rotten tomatoes and salad. I bought 2 kebab but both are same. I have to spitt out. So annoying. I never give the review but for other people I have given this review because sometimes they feed their kids too and rotten salad and unfresh meat make the people sick. People are spending money they deserve better. Not recommending this...
