I had some family members visiting us from overseas. Took them at this place (Paradise) for dine in (Dinner). After waiting for 15 minutes we got sitting space for 4. 1st thing they bring to serve us was desert. I said really desert at starting of it meal ? He said sorry it's a mistake. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes nothing came on table . People came after us was already getting their orders and was eating. I asked one of their waiter for our order he said wait I will check it. He brought main curries and Naans, Rotis at table but missed rice , Salad and Entrees. I said where is our starter/Entrees ? He said did you order one ? I said what you mean if I ordered one ....I already paid for everything so you should know what I have ordered. He went in kitchen , we started eating whatever was on table as we were really hungry . We nearly finished eating mains and he came up with Entrees. Still No Rice or Salad for us. We finished eating dinner was waiting for Desert but same , I had to go to counter and ask for it.
At the End again I went at counter and asked for their manager , one guy came out from kitchen , He wasn't Looking Manager to me in any way so I asked are you Manager? No Name Badge, No different uniform etc. He replied yes ....I said ok here is what happened tonight with me (Told him story) He said it never happened with us like this, even tonight it is just your order but sorry to say tonight our computer system is not working so we had to write everything on paper with pen. Might be mixed it up or lost the paper.
So that was my Dine In Dinner...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Paradise Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
Ambiance: The interior is tastefully decorated with a cozy yet elegant vibe. Soft lighting and comfortable seating create a relaxed dining environment. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience.
Service: The service was excellent. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made sure our needs were met without being intrusive, and our food was served promptly.
Food: The menu offers a diverse selection of dishes, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. I ordered the grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and accompanied by a delicious lemon butter sauce. My dining companions were equally pleased with their choices, which included a perfectly spiced chicken curry and a rich, creamy pasta.
Value: While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and service justifies the cost. Portions are generous, and the ingredients used are fresh and high-quality.
Minor Points for Improvement:
The dessert menu could use a few more options.
It can get quite busy during peak hours, so reservations are recommended.
Overall, Paradise Restaurant lives up to its name by providing a near-perfect dining experience. I look forward to returning and trying more of their delectable offerings. Highly...
Read moreUnfortunately our experience was not good at all. First, entre had a strand of hair sitting right on top. The person who brought it did not see it walking all the way with the one plate and I saw it the moment it came in front of me. Then comes my order. Ordered chicken, got lamb. Wouldn't usually say the experience was all that bad but the audacity of the staff to question if I was sure what I had ordered. Their receipt said exactly what I had ordered which they confirmed and stood there like total losers. The attitude of the staff really put me off. @management please pay your staff a little better because not a single one out of the atleast 15-20 of them there smiled once. The replacement of the order was basically slid on to my table and the server walks away. Paradise being such a name out there, I didn't only pay for my food, I paid for the service too. The food too was average at best. Could've just gone to the local indian takeaway but sadly thought it was worth the drive from southern Auckland. Felt really uneasy straight after, both me and my wife. Certainly not going back. I know it wouldn't make much of a difference to paradise if I went or not, but to me it does and that was my last visit.
Forgot to mention the chicken biryani was extremely dry. Had to mix my wife's curry with it for some mouthfeel, although it beat the entire biryani experience. I am a professional food expert by trade and this was a bad bad experience from both a customer's perspective as well as a...
