The portion sizes are just ridiculously small for what these guys charge. And it looks like there's a bit of other feedback on exactly this issue in the reviews. I ordered a Chettinad egg curry and was shocked at getting 1 egg cut into 2 halves with a tiny bit of gravy - $14!!! Eggs aren't that expensive! Left a real bad taste in my mouth. I fail to understand why you guys would create this kind of negative feelings over what should be fair portion sizes. Customers are sensitive to getting value for money and yours was definitely not.
Updated review: Unfortunately looks like you've not taken the feedback into account. By responding with "you got 2 porottas" you still fail to understand the total lack of value perceived by ther serving of just 1 boiled egg cut into 2 tiny halves served with a few spoons of curry in the dish. $14 should be worth a bit more. Simply not good enough. Even the container you use is half the size that any regular restaurant/takeaway uses. Feel...
Read moreI am wondering who gave this place a 5 star. The food is below average with very little choices, and they are all the same. I ordered mysore masala dosa which is suppose to have a spicy paste, they got a regular dosa, chutney is of a negligible portion, I dunno if I shd laugh at what they have given. Zero star for hygiene as I could see the sticky finger marks on glass and I avoided drinking water. The next dosa took 20mins and we were already running late, when we asked to cancel that, the host said sit down its coming in 1 min , and what We got was kinda half cooked rava dosa which was bitter and didn't taste or look anywhere close to a rava dosa. We chose the place looking at the rating but it was the worst South Indian food experience. They are small family run business but atleast work on ur service and product quality before. Sorry will never go back or recommend to anyone.
I felt sorry for the uncle who was serving, his hands were not stable, old...
Read moreOrdered the Mysore Spicy Chicken and honestly, it was a complete waste of money. After waiting for a while, the dish finally came, and the very first bite was so hard and overcooked that I had to spit it into a tissue and show it to the staff. The chicken was tough, thready, and inedible. When I complained, I was told this happens because the chicken is fried and then put in the gravy. That’s no excuse for serving such badly cooked food. I asked them to change it, and they did, but the replacement was the exact same – just with less chicken in the gravy this time. To make it worse, a senior staff member later admitted that the Chef had overcooked the chicken. If you already know the main ingredient is ruined, why serve it to customers at all? Why not just be honest and inform them? I’m a regular customer, but this experience was extremely disappointing. Very careless, very poor quality, and not...
