Wanted Thai food delivered and found that this place had been recommended on the urban list, so gave it a go. Big mistake. Food took over an hour to turn up. Several phone calls later asking what had happened to our dinner, it finally showed up at the door. Finally! By this time we were starving, and ripped into the bag with anticipation of an amazing meal. It was not to be... the food was cold, and one of the appetisers we ordered, the gold bags, or money bags, whatever they are called, were soggy, cold, and pretty much inedible. So, I phoned the restaurant back, explained the situation, and was offered a $10 voucher to use next time we order, we had just spent $55 on our order. I didn't think that was good enough, and said so. Asked for a replacement, hot, meal to be delivered. The person on the phone said they needed to check with a manager, and put me on hold while they found out. Meanwhile we heated the cold food up in the microwave to at least eat something after waiting for over an hour. The person on the phone finally came back and said that they could now offer us a $20 voucher. I refused saying that what I really want is some hot, fresh food to eat since that's what I paid for and the microwave has not been kind to the food that was delivered cold and very late. The guy asked if we have eaten any of the food, and I say yes we have tried a little of each of the four dishes we ordered, but still have most of them. He then goes to talk to his manager again. A while later he returns to the phone and says that since we have eaten some of the food they cannot send a replacement as it's their policy to have the intact food returned before they can send a replacement. I pretty amazed by this point and ask to speak to the manager. He says the manager is busy. Then after some more lively conversation he says he IS the manager! At this point I've given up on receiving anything resembling service from this guy. Ask if he is able to refund me for the food. Refused. Continues to offer $20 voucher, but I explain that since I now will never be buying food from them again, the $20 voucher is completely worthless to me. Ask again for food replacement, but he reverts to the company policy line about needing to return intact dishes so they can "investigate". I'm wondering what kind of investigation requires return of untouched dishes, which can't be done on partially consumed dishes. I give up at this point and hang up with the guy saying he will escalate this to be investigated and I will be contacted soon by higher managers. I'm writing this 24 hours later, but have heard nothing, and don't expect to. The really weird thing was that 5 minutes after hanging up, while I was making a bacon sandwich to feed myself (the reheated Thai food, was really turning my stomach at this point, probably more to do with the service than the actual food), the delivery guys shows up at the door with a replacement meal! I'd only stopped talking to the phone guy a couple of minutes ago and he flat refused to send a replacement. I don't know what happened there, but at least we got a replacement meal. They still only get 1 star as the service was so terrible, and the food average at best. The bacon sandwich...

Please see my review, this is the worst food I ever even tasted. Thank you, Soul Thai (Central), for spoiling your birthday and dinner Sticky Rice: wrapped in plastic cling wrap, no tasty at all and rice was defiantly not fresh felt like I was cooked 2 days ago and re-heated. Worst product ever. Panang Rich Red Curry: This is the worst curry ever had, rotten smell coming out of curry. The beans were off and soggy, the coconut milk used in the curry was off, you can literally smell it. Again tasted like pre-cooked frozen curry reheated and the vegetable and the beans in the curry was rotten I literally pulled out the rotten beans out the curry, I almost throw up on the dinner table. Thank you for making our dinner miserable.

Read moreI recently ordered a meal from this Thai takeaway service, and the overall experience was deeply disappointing. First and foremost, I explicitly opted for cutlery to be included with the delivery. However, when the food arrived, there was no cutlery to be found. This not only left me puzzled but also posed a significant inconvenience. As a professional food service, they should pay close attention to customer choices and needs, rather than overlooking or neglecting them. Moreover, the taste of the food was a letdown. I was looking forward to savoring authentic Thai dishes, but what I got was neither genuine nor palatable. It seemed the ingredients were not fresh, and the seasoning was too overpowering, lacking the unique flavor that Thai cuisine is known for. In summary, I am profoundly dissatisfied with this takeaway experience. I hope the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously and genuinely strives to improve their service quality to meet customer...
