Came here with a large group of friends to watch the Parker fight. Ordered a drink and a dessert brownie which was meant to come with chocolate sauce and ice cream but only came out with ice cream (seems a bit silly to forget to put one third of the dessert on the plate) and asked for it. Waited for a while and eventually got back a plate with a brownie chocolate sauce in ice cream soup (it had melted). The brownie was rock hard and I trouble cutting it with utensils and I couldn't really finish it. What made the night worse was we brought along a sober driver who can't have sugary drinks due to a health problem who was being continually asked (harassed) by waitresses to get a drink. Not long after the owner comes out with very aggressive body language and tries bullying my friend to buy a drink. At this point my partner steps in and explains that he's the sober driver and why he can't have anything else to consume. The manager then lunges at our table to check if we had purchased anything and my partner asks the guy to please calm down. To which the owner yells don't tell me to calm down in my bar. At this point I'd had enough. After paying for the most disgusting dessert of my life I pointed out that everyone else had ordered quite a bit and that the dessert was terrible. This guys response was to get right in my face (so close he was breathing on me) very menacingly. The owner seemed to have had a few too many drinks (I could smell it) and I asked him why he was in my face and to back off. Which he didn't do until my partner told him to back up as well. Very creepy guy. We left soon after. Worst bar experience in my life. Incredibly unprofessional bar owner/manager. And honestly I'm wondering how I kept my...
Read more5 stars - I held a private function which was an amazing success. The Stables is the function room booked but initially was advised by Jason to use The Loft but after seeing how small it was for the numbers I had booked for - The Stables was the best option. The Stables had indoor outdoor flow, buffet and kitchen was right there. We had Dj and live music at my function, photo booth and balloon garland decor. The bar was stocked with the spirits we wanted, beer and wine. Even accommodated my signature drink “Lady Vaye” (cosmo). We were able to bring our own cake and given the ok to also provide cupcakes with the cake. If you want clear communication to organise a private function at Horse & Trap (H&T) then ask to speak to Rishi. After a tour of the venue Rishi gave me & my organising team good advice on what we could do, what H&T could provide & what doesn’t work well from previous functions. Rishi had good communication, quick to respond to emails & phone calls. Thank you Rishi for letting us Glam up H&T for the night it was perfect! Recommend Rishi as Manager of H&T it was like he was the Manager huge loss to H&T if...

Ordered a jug of their tap beer for a friend that had just arrived with a pint, took this back to the table and poured my friend a pint, he took a sip and I started pouring mine, noticing a chip on the jug we inspected it, while inspecting the jug saw loose shards, stopped my friend from drinking his to inspect his and found three glass shards at the bottom of his pint. Went back to the bartender to show him what he gave us. His response we "oh" grabbed another jug to inspect and put that one aside, then another, and started to pour into this one then placed it on the bar with nothing else said. This is when I asked, "Is that it?"He said "yeah". I asked to see the Manager which he went off to do, the duty manager was training a new employee at the till (near the outside area), after 10 minutes, he came over and asked what the problem was, which we explained. He responded with, "You got another jug" I said "yes, no apology, this is acceptable?" Which he responded with "sorry but...
